Precision for Medicine seeks a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead clinical science analytics and insights across clinical trial projects. This role manages the operational clinical science function from study startup through database lock, serving as the subject matter expert in applying clinical knowledge, guidelines, and standards of care to clinical trial data review.
Key responsibilities include: serving as functional lead for Clinical Science Analytics & Insights (CSAI) services on assigned project teams; supporting scientific data capture, review, and cleaning; developing and implementing cross-functional data cleaning processes; managing medical monitor reviews; providing protocol review from a scientific operational perspective; collaborating with Data Management on eCRF specifications and edit checks; supporting risk identification and deficiency management; overseeing CSAI project plans and documentation; conducting holistic clinical data reviews using programmed outputs; managing query issuance and resolution; developing and testing CSAI programmed outputs; providing study-specific training; participating in team meetings and presentations; supporting data-related committees; reviewing Tables, Figures, Listings, and clinical study reports; participating in candidate interviews and business development activities; and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
The role requires 8+ years of clinical research experience, a bachelor's degree in science or health-related discipline with medical terminology proficiency, and minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
