Samba TV is a media intelligence company that provides real-time consumer attention data across screens to major global brands. As Principal Client Partner, you will own and exceed revenue targets across a portfolio of strategic brand advertisers, with full accountability for pipeline, forecasting, and close. You will sell Samba's suite of measurement, audience targeting, and attribution solutions to leading brand advertisers, growing adoption across their brands, categories, and markets. You will also sell research tools across planning and measurement, becoming the trusted partner clients reach for strategy setting and outcome validation. Key responsibilities include owning the entire advertiser relationship from CMO and senior marketing leadership through brand, media, insight, analytics, and procurement teams. You will navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles across marketing, media, insight, and procurement, leading complex commercial negotiations to signature. You will partner effectively with clients' agencies of record while retaining the client relationship and commercial conversation. You will lead business reviews and annual planning sessions, translating performance into next commitments. You will prospect, qualify, close, and scale revenue-generating relationships within your territory or vertical, serving as a subject-matter expert and thought leader. Collaboration with Programmatic Consulting, account management, and Measurement Science teams is essential to deliver proposals exceeding advertiser objectives. You will meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas with strong pipeline and Salesforce discipline. You will channel client feedback into product roadmap discussions, help develop local marketing initiatives, and participate in industry events as a regional knowledge leader. Over time, you may mentor and manage an Account Executive as the team scales, leading as a player-coach without stepping away from your own number. Requirements: - Minimum 7+ years total experience in advertising, digital media, adtech, or data/analytics sales, selling directly to brands (TV experience a plus) - Proven sales success and ability to perform against quota in highly competitive markets - Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of online advertising landscape - Strong, current relationships with senior marketing and media decision-makers at brand advertisers - Deep knowledge of client-side planning processes, budgeting, annual reviews, and data/measurement decisions - Understanding of privacy regulations shaping advertising - Comfortable working through clients' agencies without ceding client ownership - Demonstrated strategic, consultative, and analytical sales approach focused on partnership building - Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystem (display, video, mobile, CTV, programmatic) - Fluency in cross-screen measurement, targeting, and attribution - Proven track record navigating complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations - Proficiency in Salesforce with disciplined pipeline and forecast management - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - Strong references with partners, customers, and colleagues - Existing relationships with senior marketing decision makers favored - Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to streamline workflows, interpret model-generated recommendations, and stress-test assumptions - Familiarity with how AI and ML are reshaping audience measurement, targeting, and attribution in TV and streaming advertising (strong plus) - Desire to learn AI-powered sales productivity tools (CRM intelligence, proposal generation, audience insights, campaign optimization) - Currently requiring 4 days per week on-site in office - Willingness to travel to outside markets and entertain clients during evenings and occasionally weekends
