Assort Health is building AI agents that create continuous conversations for patients across their healthcare journey, replacing fragmented interactions with systems that remember context and preferences. They operate the largest proprietary specialty dataset in healthcare: 270 million patient interactions, 62,000 care protocols, and 1.6 million decision pathways.
As Principal Agent Strategy Manager for Health Systems, you will lead Assort's largest and most strategically important healthcare partnerships. You'll work directly with executive, operational, clinical, and technology leaders at major health systems to improve patient access and organizational performance. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant influence across customer relationships, product strategy, and the Agent Strategy team.
Key responsibilities include: owning Assort's largest healthcare accounts across the full customer lifecycle (launch through expansion); defining outcomes, success measures, risks, and ROI delivery plans; guiding health system leaders through complex decisions about AI, patient access, and operations; building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups; coordinating governance, decisions, and workstreams between Assort and customers; protecting retention, leading renewals, and identifying expansion opportunities; bringing health system insights into product and business decisions; mentoring other Agent Strategists; and traveling up to 25% for executive meetings and customer engagement.
You'll operate in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment where ownership and accountability are paramount. The role requires navigating complex healthcare organizations, influencing without direct authority, and making sound decisions with incomplete information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in healthcare or health tech
- Experience owning large, high-value accounts across adoption, retention, renewal, and expansion
- Deep knowledge of healthcare operations, patient access, and how provider organizations make decisions
- Strong executive communication skills and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Experience leading enterprise programs across multiple departments, workstreams, and senior leaders
- Strong product aptitude, analytical thinking, and ability to learn technical healthcare products quickly
- Ability to influence without authority, mentor others, and improve team operations
- Sound judgment, clear prioritization, and comfort making decisions with limited information
