Assort Health is building AI agents that create continuous conversations for patients throughout their healthcare journey, replacing fragmented interactions with systems that remember context and preferences. As Principal Agent Strategist, you will lead Assort's largest and most strategically important customer partnerships as a senior individual contributor role. You'll own the full customer lifecycle from launch through expansion, working directly with C-suite and operating leaders at enterprise healthcare organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning Assort's largest and most complex accounts across the entire customer journey
- Defining outcomes, success measures, risks, growth opportunities, and ROI delivery plans
- Building trust with C-suite stakeholders and guiding decisions on AI, operations, and growth strategy
- Coordinating governance, decisions, timelines, and workstreams across Assort and customer teams
- Protecting retention, leading renewals, and identifying expansion opportunities
- Bringing customer insights into product, implementation, and business decisions
- Mentoring other Agent Strategists and improving team playbooks and processes
- Traveling up to 25% for executive meetings, presentations, and customer engagement

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Consulting, Implementation, or Enterprise Strategy
- Proven track record owning large, high-value accounts across adoption, retention, renewal, and expansion phases
- Strong executive communication skills, commercial judgment, and ability to navigate complex organizations
- Experience leading programs across multiple teams, workstreams, and senior stakeholders
- Strong product aptitude, analytical thinking, and ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Ability to influence without authority, mentor others, and improve team operations
- Sound judgment, clear prioritization, and comfort making decisions with limited information
NICE TO HAVES:
- Healthcare, health tech, or highly regulated industry experience
- Experience helping enterprise customers adopt AI, automation, or technical products
- Experience building customer programs, processes, or playbooks from the ground up
- Early-stage startup or rapidly growing SaaS company experience
