The company's FinCrime Operating System helps banks and financial services firms tackle Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions, and evolving regulatory challenges across 120+ countries. The Principal Advisor is a leadership role requiring expert-level domain knowledge to guide and implement Fenergo's product offerings within client environments. This is a high-impact position that combines deep technical expertise with strategic client engagement and internal leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a confident domain and product expert, communicating effectively with clients on Client Lifecycle Management, Financial Crime Compliance (AML, ATF, sanctions, ABAC, fraud), Credit Risk Assessment, Tax Regulation (FATCA/CRS), KYC risk models, and related financial services solutions - Lead extensive client engagements to assess and define scope and complexity of client operating models, formulating designs at high, medium, and low levels - Work with clients to define their operating model with introduction of Fenergo's FEN-X platform to their architecture - Challenge clients on requirements to drive optimal solutions aligned with industry best practices and Fenergo's product strategy - Provide comprehensive customer demonstrations on the FEN-X CLM platform - Foresee and escalate issues in a timely manner to avoid negative project impact - Drive internal and external communications to manage stakeholder expectations effectively - Provide support to pre-sales and sales teams as needed Practice and Leadership: - Play a supporting role in shaping the direction of the Delivery Organisation - Support employee development through line management and mentoring; become an SME in multiple product areas and deliver training - Implement efficiencies and improvements that drive consistent, repeatable successful delivery - Keep current with industry and regulatory changes, product offerings, and content - Support regional change management efforts - Cascade global and regional organizational goals and initiatives to the team Travel to client sites (domestic and international) and other Fenergo offices is required. Requirements: - Minimum degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent - Minimum 10 years' industry and domain experience implementing, consulting, or managing software projects on the vendor side within financial services - Advantage if 10+ years' experience in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, or KYC within Financial Services - Knowledge of the AML regulatory environment across EU27; additional knowledge of Luxembourg and UK regulatory environments is a distinct advantage - Strong presentation and communication skills - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to shape and lead conversations at all levels - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Excellent organization and effective listening skills - Experience offering design solutions
