Salary: USD 140,000 - 280,000 / annual
Amca is building America's industrial base by rapidly developing and manufacturing critical components and subsystems for aviation, military, and infrastructure platforms. The company operates seven factories nationwide and delivers avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for platforms including the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, A320neo, A321, Mk-48, and M1 Abrams.
The Primary Research Analyst will own research into and strategy development of new market entry initiatives, sitting on the Growth team and reporting to the VP of Growth. This role works closely with the leadership team and CEO to identify which sectors within the industrial base (outside aerospace and defense) should be targeted next, and determine the most elegant and rapid ways to enter those markets.
Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of hedge fund experience or equivalent financial research background. The role requires fundamental research skills, creative thinking, and financial sophistication. Success in this position means moving beyond passive investment analysis to drive tangible, actionable shifts in the world through the company's own strategic initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to apply rigorous research methodology to real-world industrial strategy and execution, rather than abstract investment theses. The analyst will work at the intersection of market research, strategic planning, and business development for a company focused on closing critical gaps in U.S. manufacturing capability.
