The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (SE) is a critical member of the sales organization, responsible for securing the technical win on assigned deals. You will work closely with Account Executives, sales leadership, services, engineering, and technical support to ensure proposed solutions accurately address customer needs and are championed by key customer technical decision-makers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as an integral part of the sales team, owning the technical portion of deals and identifying upsell opportunities
- Present and articulate Zimperium's value proposition while maintaining competitive intelligence
- Establish yourself as a technical evangelist and trusted advisor early in the sales cycle
- Understand customer requirements and create customized presentations, demos, and RFP responses
- Secure buy-in from all necessary technical stakeholders within customer organizations
- Adapt solutions to ensure appropriate customer support and implementation success
- Build strong relationships with security and mobile teams at customer organizations
- Deliver tailored Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements and technical workshops to drive the technical win
- Work in the assigned territory to drive revenue growth alongside your Account Executive
You will work from a home office with approximately 60% travel to customer sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of pre-sales engineering experience in enterprise software
- Experience in cybersecurity space (Cloud, Network, End-Point, or Mobile) preferred
- Security & Penetration Testing certification is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with strong enthusiasm
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills
- Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to work from home office with ability to travel approximately 60%
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
