LucidLink is seeking a Post Sales Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical partner for customers from contract signature through renewal. This role bridges sales and support, ensuring smooth onboarding, proactive issue resolution, and early identification of renewal risk and expansion opportunities.
You will own the technical success of assigned accounts, ensuring customers are upgraded to the latest product versions and onboarded within 30 days of signing. You'll maintain renewal and expansion tracking, minimize avoidable support escalations, and act as the trusted technical point of contact for strategic accounts—managing everything from routine check-ins to high-stakes escalations.
LucidLink is a file streaming platform enabling teams instant access to large files in the cloud without downloads, syncing, or VPNs. The company serves 4,000+ customers and 100,000+ users across 150+ countries, streaming over 100 petabytes of data. Founded in 2016 by storage industry veterans, LucidLink has won an Emmy Award for Engineering, Science & Technology and operates with offices in San Francisco, Sofia (Bulgaria), and remote teams across North America, Europe, and Australia.
The role requires supporting customers across multiple time zones and geographies. You'll need to guide technical customers on APIs, SDKs, and integrations; reason through distributed storage and cloud architecture trade-offs; lead conversations on identity and access (SSO, 2FA, role-based permissions); diagnose complex technical issues under pressure; explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executives; spot renewal and expansion opportunities; and scope migration and business-continuity plans.
LucidLink emphasizes values-led culture (integrity, innovation, empathy), immediate impact in a 230+ person startup, and AI fluency as a core professional competency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep competency in APIs, SDKs, and integrations; ability to guide customers to the right integration approach for their environment
- Strong understanding of distributed storage and cloud architecture; ability to reason through metadata vs. data separation, caching, and encryption trade-offs
- Fluency in identity and access management (SSO, 2FA, role-based permissions) in practice
- Methodical troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose complex or sensitive technical issues under pressure and know when to escalate
- Clear technical communication; ability to explain technical material to both engineers and executives and adapt depth/pacing in real time
- Relationship ownership mindset; ability to act as trusted technical contact on strategic accounts
- Commercial awareness; ability to spot renewal risk and expansion potential and manage own book of renewals
- Migration and continuity planning expertise; ability to scope plans sized to customer infrastructure and risk tolerance
- Willingness to support customers across multiple time zones and geographies (UK or East Coast US base preferred)
