Scopely is seeking a Live Events Producer to drive the execution of major live events and features in Pokémon GO, including Pokémon GO Fest, Pokémon GO Tour, and Pokémon GO Wild Area. These events reach thousands of players in person and millions globally through in-game experiences.
In this role, you will support the planning and execution of quarterly and annual live events aligned to key business campaigns and goals. You'll partner closely with design, live operations, marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality experiences. Responsibilities include planning real-world events (5,000–300,000 players) and global in-app events (millions of players), developing and iterating on agentic AI skills and automated workflows to validate event specs, and improving consistency across live event setups.
You will drive projects from concept through launch by breaking down complex initiatives into clear workstreams, milestones, and ownership structures. You'll keep stakeholders and leadership informed of progress and blockers, partner with engineering, QA, design, art, and operations to ensure proper setup and testing, and contribute to postmortems and process improvements by synthesizing learnings and highlighting performance insights.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience producing live service mobile games or comparable live-operated digital products, with a track record of contributing to product growth and operation in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You should have experience building, iterating on, or meaningfully improving agentic AI workflows, automated validation flows, or other practical AI-enabled systems that increase team efficiency and decision quality. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. You'll demonstrate analytical and practical problem-solving skills, adaptability to dynamic situations, and enthusiasm for using AI and modern productivity tools. A passion for mobile games, live operations, and player experience is required, as is willingness to travel for event attendance.
