Payoneer is a global financial platform founded in 2005 that simplifies cross-border business operations for over 2,500 colleagues serving customers and partners in 190+ countries. The Platform Enablement & Automation team owns configuration management across Payoneer's products and services, handling pricing structures, eligibility policies, onboarding, and business rules that govern product behavior across regions.
This hands-on individual-contributor role focuses on engineering delivery and technical ownership without people management responsibilities. You will serve as a core builder of the internal platform, working across the full technology stack from React/TypeScript frontend through Node.js backend services to data layers and deployment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining the internal platform across the full stack; engaging directly with business teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions that eliminate manual work; providing technical depth and redundancy to reduce single-point dependencies; translating business requirements into sound technical approaches and working implementations; leveraging AI-assisted development to prototype and build rapidly; building and extending AI-native and automation capabilities including AI-assisted workflows and agents; managing version control, branching, and release processes across Sandbox, QA, and production environments; contributing to the platform's external-facing layer for strategic partners; and maintaining code quality through documentation, standards, and engineering practices.
You will work in close partnership with business teams and collaborate daily with the team's Director, R&D, and Product teams in Glilot to shape the platform roadmap and deliver against it.
Required qualifications: 2-4 years of hands-on software engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of features and projects from concept through production; broad engineering foundation with versatility across the full stack; proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack (React frontend, Node.js backend); working command of version control and release management (Git or Azure DevOps); sound solution-design judgment to translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical approaches; proficiency with AI-assisted development tools; ability to work directly with business stakeholders; pragmatic, execution-oriented approach with bias toward shipping and iterating.
Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with Payoneer's platform and business operations, experience with both document databases (MongoDB) and relational databases (SQL/MSSQL), and familiarity with AI/LLM platforms and agentic workflows.
