As People & Talent Operations Partner, you will own the day-to-day execution of hiring and people processes, serving as a key touchpoint for candidates and employees throughout their journey at Birdie. You will manage the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing through offer, ensuring every interaction reflects Birdie's values and commitment to quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end sourcing and screening across all open roles, building strong pipelines and maintaining candidate engagement
- Candidate scheduling, communications, and offer administration to ensure smooth, well-informed experiences
- Maintaining clean and accurate ATS (Ashby) and HRIS (HiBob) data for trustworthy people analytics
- Managing onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, letters, and transition support
- Serving as primary point of contact for London office logistics and facilities coordination
- Planning and delivering social events and company-wide gatherings in collaboration with the team
- Providing first-line support for day-to-day people queries and preboarding assistance
- Cross-functional collaboration with Finance on payroll and benefits operations
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, documentation enhancements, and self-serve tools
You will work in a hybrid model (3 days per week in London HQ) within a transparent, human-centered culture that values autonomy, initiative, and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience running full-cycle hiring processes independently (in small teams, startups, or high-volume junior hiring roles) or owning hiring operations in larger teams with focus on candidate experience and process excellence
- Proven sourcing experience for hard-to-find candidates; proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Track record managing candidate communications and high-volume scheduling with understanding of smooth candidate journeys
- Hands-on experience with HR and hiring software (Ashby, HiBob, or similar platforms)
- Experience working directly with hiring managers and stakeholders to maintain process alignment and momentum
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities without dropping details
- Self-directed approach with ownership mentality; ability to run projects with minimal oversight
- Proactive mindset focused on process improvement, including curiosity about AI applications
- Adaptability and willingness to develop skills beyond core background; comfort with varying talent/people work balance throughout the year
