Brex is an intelligent finance platform enabling companies to spend smarter across 200+ markets through corporate cards, banking, spend management, and travel software. The People team builds and sustains Brex's culture, focusing on talent, growth, and employee experience.
As People Programs Lead, you will own the entire new hire journey end-to-end, serving as the primary host and first friendly face for onboarding. You'll blend operational excellence with engaging facilitation both in-office and remotely, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from preboarding through the first 90 days, including executive setups.
Beyond onboarding, you'll act as a core engine across Brex's Talent Management portfolio. This includes designing resources, automating continuous processes, scaling mentorship programs, and translating data into actionable insights for People leadership. You'll partner cross-functionally with IT, Workplace, Recruiting, and People Business Partners to resolve edge cases and optimize programs over time.
Key responsibilities include owning global onboarding cohorts end-to-end with live facilitation; delivering quarterly performance recaps and strategic evolution proposals; maintaining mentorship initiatives through mentor pairing and feedback tracking; and operating as a utility player across employee engagement, rotational/mobility programs, learning & development, and performance programs. You'll measure program efficacy using new hire surveys and completion analytics.
The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of hands-on program management experience within Talent Management, People Operations, or L&D, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment
- Outstanding communication skills and passion for leading engaging, high-energy facilitation sessions both in-person and remotely
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes (IT, Workplace, Recruiting) and independently resolve ad-hoc operational scenarios
- Comfort pulling and analyzing both qualitative survey feedback and quantitative metrics to validate program health and drive iteration
- Proactive, "utility player" attitude with strong attention to detail and track record of driving initiatives independently
**Bonus qualifications:**
- Prior experience running a company-wide onboarding program
- Desire to stretch into broader Talent Management functions such as employee engagement, rotational/mobility programs, or learning & development
- Thrive on novelty, autonomy, and challenge with a "play to win" mentality
