Broccoli AI is building AI teammates for contractors in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services. As People Operations Coordinator, you will serve as the right hand to the Director of People, owning the day-to-day details that keep employees engaged and supported. This role is the operational backbone of people operations at a fast-growing company. Key responsibilities include: - Own employee engagement and recognition programs, planning and executing initiatives that build culture and celebrate the team - Lead new hire onboarding end-to-end: preparing workspaces, greeting new hires, and ensuring their first days feel welcoming and organized - Manage new hire swag inventory and preparation, ensuring items are stocked and sent out on time - Coordinate device and equipment setup for new employees, including ordering desks, monitors, and workstation needs - Track new hire checklist completion and follow up directly on outstanding onboarding items - Handle core HR administrative tasks, including sending offer letters and maintaining accurate employee records - Run regular HR reports and pull data to support the Director of People and leadership - Serve as the primary point of contact for HR questions, escalating to the Director of People as needed - Partner with the Director of People on ongoing HR projects and initiatives - Champion in-office culture at the SF office, keeping it running smoothly and identifying ways to improve the workplace - Support general HR administrative needs as they arise This is a true catchall role for someone who thrives on variety, loves being the go-to person, and wants to help build culture at a growing company. Requirements: - 1-3 years of experience in HR/People Operations - Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously - Warm, welcoming presence; someone who genuinely enjoys being the face of the office and making people feel taken care of - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with Rippling as an HRIS system - Comfortable using AI tools to build workflows and improve processes - Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset; someone who spots what needs to get done and does it without waiting to be asked - Discretion and good judgment when handling sensitive employee information
