Sportradar, the world's leading sports technology company serving 1,700+ sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries, is seeking a People Advisor for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
You will own all HR operations and people matters for the BiH location, including local implementation of global People initiatives, culture and values activation, compliance with global policies and local law, local learning and development, and leadership coaching. You will serve as the country subject matter expert and point of contact for all HR-related matters.
Key responsibilities include:
**Employee Relations**: Act as the primary contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance and maintain positive relations.
**Onboarding and Offboarding**: Physically onboard and offboard new employees at the location, coordinating closely with line managers, talent acquisition, and divisional partners.
**Payroll Management**: Manage payroll, employment contracts, and related documentation. Maintain relationships with local employment institutions (Labor Office, Health/Social/Pension insurance companies). Ensure timely data updates aligned with contracts and divisional direction, including communication of job/cost center changes, pay increases, and personal data updates.
**Compliance and Risk Management**: Stay current on country, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant legislation. Partner with Compliance and Risk teams on employee data integrity and training implementation. Manage Health and Safety compliance requirements and support grievance investigations.
**Local Strategy**: Adapt and implement selected People Strategic initiatives locally in alignment with Divisional People Partners and Centers of Excellence. Ensure local talent, learning, and development initiatives are executed.
**Culture and Values**: Partner with local functional leaders to translate business needs into people, culture, and organizational actions, including local values activation plans.
**Performance Management**: Support goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning processes.
**Benefits Administration**: Oversee employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans. Coordinate with benefits vendors, brokers, and people operations teams.
**Mobility and Immigration**: Serve as internal subject matter expert and liaison with Legal and external immigration teams on relocation support and immigration matters.
The role operates on a hybrid model with three days per week in the office to foster collaboration and strengthen company culture.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Customer-centric mindset with high-level communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
