The Payor Partnerships Manager serves as a trusted partner for health plans, managing relationships from implementation through ongoing value delivery. You will be accountable for year-over-year retention, growth, value delivery, and expansion of payor partnerships. This role requires close collaboration across internal teams to manage day-to-day client interactions, lead health plan reporting and analytics, and identify improvement opportunities aligned with health plan partner goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support multiple health plan partners from implementation through ongoing value delivery
- Serve as intermediary representing partner interests and needs to internal stakeholders, including product feedback, operational design, member support, and clinical care
- Quarterback day-to-day program delivery and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver on program KPIs
- Partner with Patient Acquisition & Marketing teams to execute payor penetration and growth strategy
- Own health plan satisfaction, renewals, expansion opportunities to new markets/states/lines of business, contract adherence, contract P&L, and contract utilization
- Produce high-quality, actionable client meeting agendas and report content
- Execute best-in-class implementation and account management strategy that achieves key program milestones and exceeds expectations
The role is 100% remote with travel to client meetings required at least once per quarter. You must live with immediate access to an airport and reliable transportation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 3-5 years of experience
- Previous experience in mental health working with Managed Care Organizations
- Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver against aggressive project timelines using project management tools and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build strong working relationships, navigate various roles and responsibilities within complex organizations, and effectively represent the needs of both Equip and health partner clients
- Demonstrated experience owning and managing multiple concurrent relationships with a diverse client base
- Key analytical abilities to generate program KPIs and insights for internal and external stakeholders with focus on operational excellence and superior value delivery
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, specifically payer and provider focused
