Adyen is seeking an experienced Payments Performance Analyst to join the Performance Optimization team in São Paulo. This role bridges data analytics, customer success, and product strategy within the payments domain.
You will own full-funnel payment performance optimization, partnering with Commercial, Professional Services, and Product teams to develop data-driven insights and scalable automation solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing payment performance across risk, authentication, tokenization, and authorization metrics; identifying optimization opportunities to improve approval rates, reduce fraud, and drive cost efficiencies; and translating complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will engage directly with key customers to enhance their payment performance, act as a payment optimization expert providing both internal guidance and merchant-facing support, and help drive adoption of Adyen's optimization products (Protect, Uplift) by bridging customer needs with product capabilities. You will develop and maintain analytical frameworks, dashboards, and tools used across teams, and operate with autonomy to provide consultative guidance to high-value customers while collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in payments risk, payment performance, data analytics, or related roles within the payments industry. You must be fluent in both English and Portuguese, comfortable with fast-paced environments, and possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills. This is a hybrid role based in the São Paulo office (3 days in-person).
