Adyen is seeking a Payments Partnerships Manager to drive strategic partnerships across EMEA with payment methods, card networks, and financial institutions. Reporting to the Head of Payment Partnerships for EMEA, you will build and nurture relationships with leading payment providers at local and continental levels, defining and executing multi-year strategies across card-based, bank-based, and alternative payment methods.
Key responsibilities include managing strategic partnerships by developing proactive strategies and negotiating complex multi-year agreements with partners' senior counterparts. You will coordinate high-impact projects to improve financial and operational performance, thinking strategically while implementing initiatives at scale and navigating trade-offs between commercial opportunities and product challenges.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, commercial, and finance teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies, providing market insights to accelerate the product roadmap and commercialization efforts. This role requires influencing both internal and external stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of relevant experience in payments strategic partnerships, deep knowledge of the payments landscape with critical thinking skills to interpret emerging trends, and proven success negotiating multi-year agreements. You should have a strategic mindset paired with data-driven decision-making and operational execution capabilities, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in either the Amsterdam or London office. Adyen is an office-first company that values in-person collaboration.
