Raisin is a fintech platform connecting consumers with banks across the EU, UK, and US to provide better interest rates on savings and investment products. The company manages over 80 billion euros in assets for more than one million investors.
The Payment Operations team is responsible for the accurate, timely, and secure movement of funds across Raisin's US platform. The team supports a multi-bank deposit marketplace offering high-yield savings accounts, CDs, and centralized cash accounts, facilitating ACH transactions, reinvestments, and internal money movement across partner banks, custodial banks, and service bank relationships.
As a Payment Operations Analyst, you will own day-to-day execution and operational effectiveness of payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reconciliation across all deposit products. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment-related issues promptly and accurately, ensuring timely payment processing
- Proactively identify payment processing or reconciliation issues, escalate appropriately, and work with operating partners to resolve them
- Monitor payment processing activity to identify and address fraudulent or suspicious behavior
- Analyze existing operational processes and develop actionable recommendations for efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, product, service, partner banks, and custodial banks to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Establish, monitor, and achieve critical payment operations success metrics
- Identify opportunities for payment process automation and partner with product and engineering teams to implement solutions
- Conduct data analysis to generate insights and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Support customer service and finance teams with operational inquiries and issues
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in operations analysis or similar role within fintech or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of financial products, services, regulations, and compliance
- Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate complex data and provide actionable recommendations
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- Proficiency in process automation and data visualization tools (Excel, Looker, SQL, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to excel both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
