Cabify is seeking a Partnerships Specialist for the Growth B2C team in Peru. The role focuses on translating the partner ecosystem into measurable trips and value generation, with success measured by trips attributable to partners and economic/social/environmental value created—not by closed deals or executed subsidy budgets.
The position concentrates on four priorities in order: (1) the loyalty program with complete ownership; (2) partnerships with financial entities and payment methods with complete ownership; (3) new customer acquisition models with complete ownership; and (4) supporting partnerships for strategic projects from other teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead the loyalty program as the primary lever for user recurrence, defining value propositions by tier, program economics, partner portfolio, and communication/awareness plans in coordination with Marketing and CRM. Success is measured in trips and program user retention.
• Build and negotiate partnerships with financial entities and payment providers to drive frequency on the current user base, with benefits primarily funded by the partner. Own the full negotiation cycle: proposal, counter-proposal, cost scenarios, closing, and renewal. Measured by incremental trips and cost per incremental trip.
• Open new customer acquisition models, converting audiences that know Cabify through different channels. Measured by new activated users and their conversion to recurring use.
• Contribute the partnerships angle to strategic projects from other teams—identifying the right partner, building and negotiating the proposal, while supporting rather than owning the project outcome.
• Quantify each partnership before and after signing. Model expected cost and return with redemption scenarios, defend the business case against partners using proprietary data, and measure post-launch whether the benefit drove incremental trips or only reduced the cost of trips that would have occurred anyway.
• Manage the partnerships budget and sustain monthly operations for each relationship: reconciliations with partners, invoicing, legal terms and conditions, periodic reporting, and incident resolution.
• Maintain solid relationships with internal stakeholders and regional/global Partnerships teams, escalating negotiations when partner constraints stem from their organizational structure.
Cabify is a mobility platform working to reduce private cars on city streets through sustainable and efficient alternatives, creating economic, social, and environmental value.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: degree in Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 3+ years of end-to-end commercial partnership negotiation and management, with evidence of closed agreements (not just administered partnerships)
• Ability to isolate and defend partnership value: build business cases with assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis; defend them against partners' competing numbers; measure actual results using first-hand data
• Prioritization judgment: manage four workstreams as one person; make and defend decisions about where not to invest effort each week
• Commercial judgment to distinguish partners that drive trips from those that only provide budget; ability to decline deals that don't pay
• Ability to contribute to others' agendas: support projects from other teams, add value without claiming credit or fighting for control
• Working-level English for interaction with global teams and technical partner areas
• Desirable: experience in loyalty programs, payment methods, banking, benefits programs, and working with product teams on friction-reducing integrations
