Rillet is an Agentic ERP platform built for modern finance and accounting teams, helping companies automate critical financial processes including closing the books, revenue recognition, entity consolidation, and investor reporting. The company serves 600+ customers including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and partners with leading firms like EY and KPMG. Backed by Sequoia, a16z, ICONIQ, Bain Capital Ventures, and others, Rillet has raised over $200M and is valued at $1B. In this Partnerships role focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital, you will be a foundational member of one of Rillet's highest-performing growth channels. You will own a portfolio of PE and VC funds, transforming those relationships into pipeline, revenue, and long-term market advantage across their portfolios. Key responsibilities include: - Owning a book of funds end-to-end: opening conversations, multi-threading into operating and deal teams, and managing relationships from first touch through signed partnership and beyond - Driving portfolio penetration by converting fund relationships into introductions, pipeline, and closed customers across portfolio companies - Sourcing and influencing opportunities by working with investors to shape sales conversations when their portfolio companies engage with Rillet - Hosting and representing Rillet at roughly two high-quality events per month plus conferences, designed to build real relationships and insights - Building repeatable go-to-market motions and operating cadence that enable the sales team to work productively with investor partners - Identifying and executing strategic initiatives with funds on longer-term bets and ancillary opportunities - Creating exceptional pitches, partner materials, and outbound communications that earn replies from busy decision-makers - Leading cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Consultants, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and the Accounting & Advisory Partnerships team This is not an account executive or sales development role. Your primary focus is reaching portfolio companies behind each fund, but understanding the management company's own needs is what earns you the right to access them. You will build real relationships while earning a high on-target earnings (OTE). The role requires significant travel and is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesdays–Thursdays). New York is considered for the right candidate, or relocation to San Francisco is expected. REQUIREMENTS: The posting does not explicitly state years of experience, education, or specific certifications required. However, it emphasizes the need for extreme speed, agency, and flexibility; the ability to internalize the mission and design strategy independently; deep customer focus; and the ability to work cross-functionally without requiring accounting expertise but with genuine care for the problems Rillet solves.
