Inductive Bio is an AI-driven drug discovery platform that accelerates the design-make-test-analyze (DMTA) cycles for pharmaceutical researchers. The company's ADMET/PK models have won the world's largest AI drug discovery competition for ADMET benchmarks two years running, outperforming 370+ submissions including Merck, NVIDIA, and EMD Serono. Backed by leading biotech and technology investors, Inductive has partnered with dozens of biopharma companies to expedite their drug programs.
As Partnerships Lead, you will own the full sales cycle for Inductive's virtual lab software and AI-enabled discovery services. Your responsibilities include building and managing a sales pipeline through networking, targeted outbound efforts, and industry event participation. You'll engage with scientific buyers and decision-makers—from C-suite executives to medicinal and computational chemists—as a credible peer, earning trust through deep understanding of drug discovery challenges.
You will collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design tailored solutions that meet customer needs while reinforcing the company's scientific credibility. Key account management, including renewals and expansion opportunities, will be central to your role. You'll contribute to developing and refining the sales playbook, tools, and collateral, continuously iterating to improve customer experience and business outcomes. External representation at conferences, events, and customer meetings is also expected.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of life sciences B2B sales experience with a proven track record selling to scientific and technical buyer personas. A PhD or MS in chemistry or a related field, combined with industry experience working alongside medicinal or computational chemists, is required. You must have exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex scientific and technical concepts for diverse stakeholders. The role demands self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a startup environment while navigating ambiguity. You should have a high bar for critical thinking, ask hard questions, and push back constructively when warranted. Deal execution skills—negotiation, objection handling, and closing—are essential, as is a customer-first mindset with high integrity and strong ownership.
