Carwow is a leading European online car marketplace that combines technology, media, and automotive expertise. The company operates one of Europe's largest car-buying platforms, processing nearly £3bn in car transactions annually. Following the 2024 acquisition of Autovia (AutoExpress and Evo magazines), Carwow now reaches over 350 million people annually through web content, maintains a YouTube channel with 10 million subscribers, and sells 1.2 million print magazine copies.
As Partnership Account Director, you will lead strategic relationships with C-suite and SLT executives at Enterprise and Franchise Dealer groups, positioning Carwow as their primary stock-sourcing partner. This is a field-based role requiring autonomous work and direct influence on how dealer networks engage with Carwow's Sell My Car products.
Key responsibilities include: opening and developing new partner relationships through networking; delivering polished sales presentations on Carwow's stock-buying solutions; embedding Carwow into dealer operations; driving sustained revenue growth by increasing buyer volume and stock transactions; providing exceptional account management aligned with partner commercial objectives; collaborating with Account Managers on joint business plans; building trusted relationships with senior group contacts; maintaining accurate CRM data in Salesforce; contributing to product innovation and marketing initiatives; and developing deep automotive industry knowledge.
You will need proven experience as an influencer and negotiator with strong account management credentials. Required skills include data analysis and manipulation to identify growth opportunities, flexible communication, effective prioritization, strong business acumen, analytical problem-solving, and adaptable leadership. You must demonstrate SLT/executive-level communication skills, commercial focus, numeracy, active listening, integrity, emotional intelligence, and a solution-oriented mindset.
The interview process includes an introductory call, a deep-dive on strategic experience and regional knowledge, a task-based competency assessment with case study presentation, and a final face-to-face with senior executives to evaluate leadership style and commercial influence.
