Clasp Student Finance is a venture-backed fintech company transforming access to education through institutionally-funded gap loan programs. As a Senior Partner Success Manager, you will own the complete lifecycle of university partner relationships, from post-signing onboarding through ongoing renewal and growth.
You will manage a portfolio of school partners, running regular business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) to understand their priorities and communicate program performance. A key part of the role involves building AI-powered dashboards and reporting that make program ROI visible—tracking loan portfolio performance alongside the enrollment, retention, and revenue outcomes that matter most to partners. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders like CFOs and VPs of Enrollment, bringing subject-matter expertise on higher education funding, enrollment management, and financial aid operations.
You will advocate internally for partner-driven product needs, escalate and resolve program issues, and develop a point of view on macro pressures facing higher education to bring into partner conversations. The role requires navigating Clasp's internal systems, understanding loan products, and coordinating cross-functionally to keep programs running smoothly.
The company is moving to a remote-first model in 2026 and hires team members based in Eastern and Central time zones. You should expect company-paid travel up to seven times per year for team and company-wide gatherings, plus role-specific travel (up to 10% as noted in the posting).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in higher education, specifically enrollment management and/or financial aid operations, including knowledge of how schools process federal and private loan funding
- Proven experience owning an external B2B client or partner relationship end to end, from onboarding through renewal
- Comfort independently using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to build client-facing dashboards, reports, or analyses
- Executive-level communication skills; ability to run meetings with senior stakeholders like CFOs or VPs of Enrollment without supervision
- Consultative mindset: ability to ask "why," disagree constructively, and build trust with partners
- Comfort with technical complexity—navigating internal systems, understanding loan products, coordinating with implementation teams
- Nice to have: experience at an education fintech, loan servicer, ISA provider, or in higher-ed consulting
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship available
