Aiven is a trusted Data & AI Platform built on popular open-source technologies (Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, OpenSearch) that helps companies accelerate time-to-market and build innovative solutions across any cloud. The company has over 400 employees globally and is growing rapidly.
The Partner Success Manager (EMEA) role is part of the Customer Growth team and focuses on making OEM partnerships thrive after they go live. This is a success and expansion role, not a new-partner sourcing role. The PSM owns the health, satisfaction, and growth of an assigned portfolio of live OEM partners in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own partner success for an EMEA OEM portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact for a set of live partners
- Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with each partner, tracking goals, usage, and joint success metrics
- Launch new Aiven services and features into existing partner products, coordinating end-to-end rollouts
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Presales, and Marketing to remove blockers and align on roadmap priorities
- Represent partner feedback, feature requests, and escalations internally to the appropriate Aiven teams
- Maintain visibility into partner health metrics including adoption, satisfaction, and growth
- Build joint success plans with each partner defining what success looks like and the roadmap to achieve it
Success is measured by partner satisfaction and platform adoption growth within the existing portfolio, not by net-new partner acquisition. Partners should run regular QBR cadences, show progress against joint success plans, and new Aiven services should launch on schedule with cross-functional alignment.
Aiven offers a hybrid work policy, equity participation, professional development budget, equipment choice, and global employee assistance programs.
Requirements:
Must-have:
- Based in France, able to work across EMEA time zones
- Experience in partner success, customer success, or account/relationship management in a B2B SaaS, cloud, or OEM environment
- Track record of running structured business reviews (QBR/EBR) with partner or enterprise stakeholders
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Presales, and Marketing to drive outcomes
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure or open-source data technologies, or ability to build that fluency quickly
Good-to-have:
- Prior experience with OEM, embedded, or ISV partner models
- Prior project management experience or dealing with complex customer situations requiring internal and external coordination
- Familiarity with Aiven's product stack (Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, OpenSearch, and similar open-source data infrastructure)
- Experience coordinating product or feature launches with external partners
