Snowflake is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to drive growth of Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Reseller partners across EMEA South. This role bridges technical expertise and partnership strategy, enabling partners to build profitable revenue streams on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to Solution Providers and Practice Leads, helping them develop and launch differentiated solution offerings on Snowflake. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop technical strategies that enable partners to sell their offerings on the Snowflake platform
- Provide architectural guidance and upskilling workshops to partner Solution Architects on the Snowflake Data Platform
- Help shape joint go-to-market strategies with VAR, Reseller Partners, and System Integrators
- Act as a key technical resource during partner sales cycles, enabling effective positioning and selling of Snowflake solutions
- Create and develop technical champions within partner accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins
- Engage at the C-level with partner technologists, delivering strategic presentations
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams in an international environment
- Travel up to 25% of the time to support partner engagement
You will report to the Partner Sales Director and help build mindshare among Snowflake's VAR and Reseller partner community. Success requires strong business acumen, deep understanding of the data and AI platform ecosystem, and the ability to manage complex relationships while executing programs and tracking metrics.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of industry experience in Partnership/Alliances Technical Pre-sales within the EMEA VAR and Reseller ecosystem, with focus on selling business solutions and outcomes
- Strong architectural expertise with ability to provide upskilling workshops on the Snowflake Data Platform
- Experience developing and deploying data pipelines with different data platforms; SQL and PySpark are required; Spark, Scala, Kafka, and Apache NiFi are valued
- Proficiency with at least one public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalents) and cloud integration technologies (Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or equivalents)
- Experience developing and deploying Machine Learning models through the full Data Science lifecycle (preferred)
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or proven professional experience in data and AI technical roles
- Ability to handle business topics of varying complexity and priority efficiently
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
