Alkira, a Lumen company, is seeking an experienced Partner Solutions Architect to join its rapidly growing channel team. The role focuses on enabling and supporting strategic partners in the US and globally to deploy Alkira's cloud-native networking platform.
Key responsibilities include conducting technical training and enablement for partners on Alkira and Lumen solutions, collaborating with partners to design customer networking and security solutions, and creating technical content (slides, videos, PDFs) for partner consumption. You will participate in partner events and webinars to evangelize the joint solution, maintain competitive intelligence on industry innovations, and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure partners have necessary support and resources.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in a solutions architect, solutions engineer, or similar technical role with partner or customer-facing experience. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required. Strong knowledge of networking and security technologies is essential; cloud skills in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP are preferred. Excellent communication skills are critical—you must convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset and proven ability to build relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
