Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. The company partners with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems.
You will lead the strategy and execution of Mistral's partnership with Cloudera across the United States. This is a critical role within the rapidly expanding Partnerships organization as Mistral scales its global delivery force through strategic alliances.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Partnership Development:**
- Negotiate and enhance partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with company interests
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive pipeline and co-selling activities with Cloudera US
- Own end-to-end partnership outcomes including financial results, co-sell execution, technical integrations, and joint marketing campaigns
- Expand the partnership across new Cloudera product teams and industry sales teams
- Align partner and Mistral executive stakeholders at appropriate levels
**Execution & Results:**
- Execute partnership plans to achieve pipeline and revenue targets as part of the Global Partners and Alliances team
- Serve as escalation point to resolve field conflicts using your network and knowledge of both companies' strategic priorities
- Lead development and communication of partnership performance analysis, including financial metrics and insights
- Provide enablement and support to ensure partners effectively promote and sell Mistral's products
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Work with Mistral engineering and product teams to advance customer experience and define new routes to market
- Collaborate with Mistral's US GTM team to drive pipeline and advance opportunities
- Align Cloudera US sales teams with Mistral counterparts and facilitate regular business reviews
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience with proven sales track record in the ISV space
- Technical credibility: ability to understand and discuss AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and model deployment architectures; LLM platform experience is a strong plus
- Executive stakeholder management experience with C-level or senior leadership; high maturity in communication, influence, and prioritization
- Strong network and understanding of US technology ecosystem and regional enterprise market dynamics
- Experience in fast-growing environments; comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities; ability to operate with high autonomy
- Background in enterprise software, SaaS, AI, or infrastructure industries; exposure to AI, data, or developer-focused products is a strong plus
- Required location: New York City with travel expected within North America and to Paris HQ
