You'll join the Partner Engineering team, building the platform that enables Sprinter to launch and scale healthcare programs with major health plans and healthcare organizations. This is an ownership-driven role at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and own backend and full-stack systems powering partner integrations and patient access
- Architect features enabling multi-state rollouts, new clinical programs, and scalable delivery models
- Convert bespoke partner requests into reusable platform capabilities
- Collaborate with product, data, ops, and clinical teams to launch high-impact solutions
- Lead projects end-to-end from scoping and design through implementation and rollout
- Shape the technical direction of Partner Engineering as the company scales nationally
You bring 2+ years building backend or full-stack systems in production, have led projects or small pods from architecture through delivery, and have worked with external partners, APIs, or integrations. You thrive in fast-growing startup environments with ambiguity and speed, and collaborate closely with product, ops, or data teams. Experience mentoring other engineers through code reviews and technical leadership is valued.
Ideal candidates have worked in health tech, logistics, or integration-heavy environments; scaled backend systems supporting rapid growth; built or owned partner-facing APIs and data flows; designed for privacy and compliance in regulated industries; and operated in Series A–C startups with high ownership and scope.
The company is hybrid, based in the Bay Area with offices in San Francisco and Menlo Park, with a focus on work-life balance and flexibility.
