Contentstack is seeking an experienced Partner Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of its EMEA partner ecosystem. Unlike traditional pre-sales solutions engineers who own individual opportunity wins, this role focuses on scaling partners' technical capabilities across a portfolio of 20–30 strategic EMEA partners. You'll help systems integrators, digital agencies, ISVs, and technology alliance partners confidently architect, build, and sell Contentstack-based solutions.
Reporting into Product Experience, you'll work closely with the Partnerships team on account strategy and co-sell initiatives. Success is measured by what your partners can accomplish independently and the strength of the technical ecosystem you build.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and executing enablement strategies across your partner portfolio, including training, certification paths, sandbox environments, tech talks, workshops, and office hours
- Evaluating partner-built accelerators, integrations, and marketplace apps for architecture, performance, and alignment with best practices
- Supporting pipeline and co-sell activities through technical discovery, architecture reviews, demos, and POCs for partner-sourced opportunities
- Guiding partners on integration and solution architecture across commerce, DAM, search, personalization, CDP, and emerging technologies
- Serving as a technical resource on GDPR, data residency, and EU hosting considerations
- Owning senior technical relationships with named partners and their solution architects and engineering leaders
- Capturing partner and field feedback on product, training, documentation, MCP, AI tooling, and competitive positioning for Product and Developer Experience teams
Contentstack is an AI-forward company pioneering the Agentic Experience Platform (AXP), bringing together structured content and brand governance (Content Cloud), real-time customer data and omnichannel personalization (Data Cloud), and autonomous AI orchestration (Agent OS). Leading brands including Steve Madden, LG Electronics, Subaru of America, Dolce & Gabbana, ASICS, Decathlon, and Caesars Entertainment rely on Contentstack to reduce operational friction and deliver personalized, scalable digital experiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture within SaaS or PaaS, ideally across CMS, DXP, commerce, MACH, or composable technologies
- Hands-on experience with headless and composable architectures, including APIs, SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js and Nuxt, and modern front-end delivery patterns
- Ability to build working prototypes when partner conversations call for one; comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code
- Familiarity across the Contentstack product family with real depth in at least two areas: hosting and delivery, CMS, DXP, CDP and personalization, or AI agents
- Proven experience in a partner or channel motion, with ability to enable others to lead technical conversations
- Track record of building and owning senior technical relationships with external organizations
- Strong presentation, communication, and workshop facilitation skills for technical partner audiences
- Working knowledge of agentic AI patterns, including MCP, with hands-on experience integrating generative AI into applications
- Working knowledge of GDPR, data residency, and EU hosting considerations as they apply to digital experience platforms
- Ability to translate fluently between technical partner teams and internal Product and Engineering stakeholders
- Comfortable traveling up to 25% to partner sites, customer locations, and industry events
PLUS (not required):
- Business fluency in a second European language alongside English
- Experience with CMS or DXP vendors such as Contentful, Storyblok, Magnolia, CoreMedia, Optimizely, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager, or with SI and agency partners implementing them
- Experience with commerce platforms such as commercetools, Shopify, or SAP Commerce Cloud
- Experience with search and personalization tools such as Algolia and Coveo
- Familiarity with partner program mechanics such as deal registration, PRM, co-sell tooling, and certification tiers
