Onebrief builds AI-powered collaboration and workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. This role is part of the Federal Delivery Team and reports to the Operations Manager for Federal Delivery.
You will be responsible for implementing Onebrief at new Federal government customers, from initial deployment through successful adoption. Your primary focus is customer success: visiting customer headquarters routinely, training planning teams and stakeholders, overcoming skepticism, and ensuring their first major planning event succeeds with the platform.
Core responsibilities include:
- Clearly communicate user needs to the product team while maintaining high product proficiency and excitement about improvements
- Understand and leverage company resources to meet customer goals
- Lead or support operational exercises
- Observe user behavior and recommend product improvements
- Identify gaps between existing workflows and effective Onebrief usage, then drive adoption through hands-on configuration, user coaching, and workflow optimization
- Respond to incidents by coordinating between customers and the product engineering team
- Align team efforts to deliver excellent customer experience while coordinating with peer Partner Engagement Managers across commands
- Enable expansion and upsell opportunities by demonstrating Onebrief's value proposition
You will work in a distributed team with some members remote and others embedded in operational environments worldwide. The role evolves with priorities, but success in the first six months means earning customer and company trust, learning quickly to identify and drive progress, and remaining adaptable when priorities shift.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience supporting operational planning, coordination, or execution within a complex Federal government environment, preferably at a large agency or headquarters organization
- Experience working across large Federal organizations and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels to drive alignment and execution
- Familiarity with Federal exercises, operational readiness activities, and technical/security requirements for deploying software on classified government networks
- Proven ability to expand adoption and business presence within Federal customer organizations, particularly for software or technology solutions
- Experience providing high-touch customer support both in person and remotely, including coordinating incident resolution across customers, product, and engineering teams
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly master complex software, troubleshoot issues, and communicate technical concepts to Federal customers
- Proven ability to navigate complex government organizations, build trusted relationships, overcome bureaucratic challenges, and drive measurable customer outcomes
- Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and ability to obtain/maintain access to Federal facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical adeptness (not requiring coding, but software savvy; ability to become a power user and discuss engineering with customers)
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport, align diverse perspectives, and communicate with clarity and influence
- Deep commitment to the mission
- Proactive and adaptable; comfortable working autonomously or in cross-functional teams in fast-paced or ambiguous settings
- Clear, concise, and candid communication
