The Legal team at Revolut partners across the organization to provide practical legal advice that enables fast business growth while ensuring compliance and protection. This Paralegal role sits within the Disputes Legal team, handling customer complaints for external dispute resolution platforms and supporting the broader legal function across Revolut's EEA operations. Key responsibilities include: - Running internal fact-finding investigations and coordinating with other departments - Managing external dispute resolution complaints in accordance with local German law and regulations - Representing Revolut before external dispute resolution forums - Handling early-stage or less complex litigation, including pre-action letters, responses to claims, and case reviews - Assisting the Disputes Legal team and Legal Counsels with ad hoc tasks and advice - Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues to implement team and company-wide improvements - Analyzing case outcomes to identify and remediate legal risk areas - Setting up and improving internal procedures - Contributing to a culture prioritizing fair customer treatment - Taking ownership of problems, policies, or procedures from end to end Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent in Germany (Ausbildung zum Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellten) - Legal experience as a private-practice lawyer in financial services or equivalent in-house experience - Fluency in English and German with exceptional communication and writing skills - Analytical mindset to investigate and identify root causes - Knowledge of dispute resolution mechanisms, including refund negotiations - Strong problem-solving skills for complex cases - Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams - Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and make sound judgments under tight deadlines Nice-to-have qualifications: - Master's degree in law - Registration with the German Bar Association - Fluency in additional languages - Experience in all stages of litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and regulatory matters
