Revolut is a global fintech company with 75+ million customers, offering spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel products. The Legal team provides practical advice to support rapid business growth while maintaining compliance and protection.
This Paralegal role sits within the Disputes Legal team, handling customer complaints for external dispute resolution platforms. You will manage pre-action letters, claims, and litigation matters while providing day-to-day legal advice to identify operational improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running internal fact-finding investigations and coordinating with other departments
- Handling external dispute resolution complaints in accordance with local law and regulations
- Representing Revolut before external dispute resolution forums
- Working on early-stage or less complex litigation (pre-action letters, responses to claims, case reviews)
- Assisting the Disputes Legal team and Legal Counsels across Revolut EEA branches with ad hoc tasks and advice
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues to implement team and company-wide improvements
- Analyzing case outcomes to identify and remediate legal risk areas
- Setting up and improving internal procedures
- Contributing to a culture prioritizing fair customer treatment
- Taking ownership of problems, policies, or procedures from end to end
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent in Germany (Ausbildung zum Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellten)
- Legal experience as a private-practice lawyer in financial services or equivalent in-house experience
- Fluency in English and German with exceptional communication and writing skills
- Analytical mindset to investigate and reach root causes
- Knowledge of dispute resolution means, including refund negotiations
- Problem-solving skills for complex cases
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and make sound judgments under tight deadlines
Nice-to-have qualifications include a master's degree in law, German Bar Association registration, fluency in additional languages, and experience in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and regulatory matters.
