The company is seeking a Paralegal to join its in-house legal team in a hybrid role based in McLean or Richmond, Virginia. You will serve as a key operational partner to the legal department, supporting a broad range of commercial and compliance matters. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who is proactive, tech-savvy, and able to work independently while maintaining high accuracy. Key responsibilities include: **Commercial Contract Support:** Support attorneys throughout the contract lifecycle, including version control, tracking, and execution. Assist with review and preparation of NDAs, contract amendments, and other commercial agreements. Manage vendor and customer agreement workflows. **Contract & Legal Operations Management:** Maintain and manage the company's contract database, ensuring agreements are properly stored with accurate metadata. Organize and oversee legal files, repositories, and internal tracking systems. Assist with entity compliance and corporate maintenance across multiple domestic and foreign jurisdictions. **Cross-Functional Support:** Partner with teams across the organization to provide legal documentation and support responses to procurement, proposal, and other business requests. Pull and summarize contract history, account context, and related communications. Provide general operational and administrative support to attorneys. **Required Qualifications:** - 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in-house or supporting commercial transactions - Paralegal certificate or equivalent practical experience - Experience working with commercial contracts and legal documentation - Familiarity with contract management systems and legal databases - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Excellent written and verbal communication - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat - Tech-savvy with ability to learn new systems independently **Preferred Qualifications:** - Familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint - Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools - Experience with government contracts The company offers a competitive compensation package, discretionary time off with no maximum limits, industry-leading health/vision/dental benefits, 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave, flexible hybrid work arrangements, wellness stipends, and career development programs with educational reimbursement.
