WelbeHealth is seeking an Outreach Specialist to join the Marketing, Outreach, & Enrollment (MOE) team. This role is central to driving enrollment success for WelbeHealth's PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model, which serves vulnerable seniors by providing integrated health plan and provider services, enabling participants to age safely in their homes.
As an Outreach Specialist, you will build and maintain relationships within the community, generate qualified referrals, and guide prospective participants into the PACE program. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position emphasizes mission-driven work focused on connecting seniors with life-changing care rather than high-pressure selling. You will engage directly with community members at events and organizations, develop genuine relationships with seniors, caregivers, and community partners, and collaborate with local organizations such as senior centers, assisted living facilities, food banks, and churches.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and initiate outreach and engagement activities in assigned communities
- Identify collaboration opportunities with community organizations to generate qualified leads
- Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders and referral sources
- Develop and implement monthly marketing plans to achieve enrollment goals in partnership with the MOE Director
- Provide education about WelbeHealth's services to community referral sources
- Utilize technology platforms such as Salesforce and Athena for tracking and management
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree (marketing or healthcare administration preferred), minimum one year of sales and marketing experience with at least one year in healthcare or senior care settings (outside sales experience preferred). You must obtain DHCS training and certification as a marketing representative within 30 days of hire. The role is based in North Hollywood, CA, and requires in-person community engagement.
