This is a technical marketing role focused on organic search strategy and execution. You will own search performance for lovable.dev across Google, AI Overviews, and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on technical implementation—you'll set the organic search strategy, make website updates, build tools, and ship fixes yourself without waiting for engineering queues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning organic search strategy and roadmap for lovable.dev
- Protecting and growing search traffic as the site scales and relaunches
- Building hub pages targeting high-intent search terms
- Managing content decisions across guides, templates, blog, and other assets
- Tracking citations in AI-generated answers and connecting them to signups
- Partnering with product marketing, design, and engineering to ensure launches are discoverable
- Implementing technical SEO at scale (structured data, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, internal linking)
- Diagnosing and fixing rendering, crawling, and indexing issues in code
- Building AI-first workflows and pages without engineering support
This role recognizes that search is being fundamentally rebuilt in real time. Traditional SEO playbooks are incomplete for answer engines and AI assistants. You'll help define what winning looks like in this new landscape, with real traffic and signups to measure success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years in organic search at tech or SaaS companies with demonstrated AEO and SEO results
- Deep, hands-on technical SEO expertise: structured data, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, internal linking at scale
- Ability to diagnose and fix rendering, crawling, and indexing issues in code yourself
- AI-first workflow capability: build tools, workflows, and pages with AI independently
- Sharp content judgment and willingness to cut underperforming content
- Strong preference for PLG or self-serve experience at scale
- Strong preference for international SEO experience
- Bonus: prior experience building something with Lovable
- Fluent English (company language)
