Salary: USD 85,000 - 90,000 / annual
ShipBob is seeking an Operations Manager for Fulfillment Operations at their Bethlehem, Pennsylvania facility (2nd shift). This is a hands-on management role responsible for overseeing multiple operational functions including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, and recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead staff at the facility, fostering a positive work environment and setting team goals
- Direct distribution operations, customer service, HR, and recruiting functions
- Ensure merchant expectations are met and exceeded
- Manage performance KPIs and track key metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Use data-driven reports and analyses to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions
- Hire, train, coach, and motivate team members; manage performance and development
- Establish, follow, and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with legal requirements
- Oversee all operational processes (receiving, storage, handling, shipping) to maintain safety, quality, and legality of products
- Support adherence to standard operating procedures and escalate product-related issues
- Share knowledge with other locations and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, and business opportunities
- Implement strategies that increase productivity and enable the company to hit revenue goals
This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager, Fulfillment Operations.
