Quince is a manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) fashion and accessories brand on a mission to deliver high-quality essentials at low prices, fairly and sustainably. The company operates across apparel, accessories, home goods, and more, serving tens of millions of customers globally through a direct-to-consumer model that eliminates traditional retail layers.
As Operations Manager for EU 3PL, you will own warehouse and fulfillment operations across Quince's EU 3PL network, spanning multiple fulfillment centers and member states (Germany, Netherlands, Poland, France, and others). You'll manage the complete operational flow from customs clearance at EU entry through outbound dispatch in each local market, coordinating across countries, languages, and regulatory regimes to maintain fast, accurate, and cost-efficient operations at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
**Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations**: Own day-to-day performance of 3PL partners across EU fulfillment centers, ensuring consistent and accurate order processing across all sales channels. Set, monitor, and enforce SLAs and KPIs (order accuracy, pick/pack turnaround, on-time dispatch, delivery performance) at each warehouse and market. Optimize outbound fulfillment processes to match local operational expectations in each country. Coordinate inbound logistics with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs, including customs clearance and intra-EU stock movement under free circulation.
**Inventory & Continuous Improvement**: Balance inventory allocation across EU warehouses to minimize cross-border transfer delays and costs, partnering with supply chain and planning teams. Investigate and resolve operational issues including mispicks, damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, and customs holds, escalating to 3PL partners as needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost-per-order, improve delivery speed, and enhance customer experience in each market.
**Systems & Reporting**: Partner with IT and operations to optimize WMS, OMS, and ERP systems and their integrations, identifying automation opportunities across multi-country operations. Build reporting and dashboards to track fulfillment performance, cost trends, and SLA compliance by warehouse and country; translate data into actionable recommendations.
**Cross-Functional Partnership**: Collaborate with customer service, supply chain, planning, and engineering teams—often across countries and time zones—to proactively resolve fulfillment challenges. Serve as the operational point of contact for EU 3PL partners, including site visits across markets as needed.
**Requirements**
Required:
- 5–8+ years managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations across multiple EU countries in a high-volume ecommerce or retail environment

- Hands-on experience with WMS, OMS, and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical skills (Excel, SQL, or BI tools)
- Track record resolving operational issues—delays, mispicks, inventory discrepancies, customs holds
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable managing partners and stakeholders across countries, cultures, and time zones
Preferred:
- Fluency in an additional European language beyond business English
- Experience negotiating 3PL contracts across multiple EU countries
- Background scaling operations in a fast-growing DTC or ecommerce environment
- Experience leading WMS/OMS integrations or fulfillment automation projects across multiple markets
