Thermosphr is a climate tech startup optimizing energy management for commercial buildings across Europe. In this Operations & Data MVP Owner role, you will own the data and performance layer across the entire building portfolio. As the company scales, you'll build scalable monitoring tools and automate data pipelines that give the operations team real-time visibility across all properties. You'll leverage AI to accelerate prototyping and tool development, replacing manual processes and legacy systems with modern, usable solutions.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining data infrastructure; automating operational workflows; identifying patterns and anomalies across the building portfolio to surface insights before they become problems; detecting issues like control logic errors, configuration gaps, and equipment failures; and collaborating with the operations team to drive root-cause fixes. You'll spend significant time understanding operational challenges alongside building technical solutions—this is not a pure R&D role.
You'll work closely with Operations and Product teams in a fast-moving environment where you ship working solutions at 80% completion and iterate from there. The role offers direct, measurable impact on energy savings and real growth potential as responsibilities expand with the company.
Required: rigorous analytical skills, comfort working across different data tools and environments, practical use of AI tools, ability to manage multiple workstreams, fluency in English and French. Ideal candidates have startup experience or a track record of building side projects and automations. You're technically curious, ops-minded, autonomous, and embrace an 80/20 mindset—shipping solutions that work over perfecting specs.
