Fanatics is a leading global digital sports platform serving over 100 million sports fans through commerce, collectibles, and betting & gaming. As an Operations Analyst within the Analytics & AI Enablement team, you'll be the connective tissue between data and decision-making for the Betting & Gaming Customer Operations division.
You'll build and own analytical foundations that operations leaders across Customer Support, Fraud, Payments, and Workforce Management rely on daily. Your role combines technical depth with business acumen: you'll write complex SQL queries, build automated dashboards, and maintain data pipelines while translating findings into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Storytelling & Stakeholder Communication:**
- Transform complex data into clear insights with actionable recommendations for Ops teams
- Present findings directly to operations leaders and senior stakeholders with confidence
- Build collaborative relationships across Payments, Fraud, Product, WFM, and Customer Experience functions
- Tailor communication style to audience needs—executive summary versus detailed methodology
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with consistent stakeholder updates
**Analytical Ownership & SQL Fluency:**
- Own your domain end-to-end: build pipelines, maintain dashboards, surface insights proactively
- Write, QA, and optimize complex SQL independently
- Identify and resolve data quality issues before they impact leadership reporting
- Replace manual, one-off reporting with automated, always-on solutions
- Drive short and long-term analytical initiatives autonomously
You'll report to the Senior Manager of Operations Analytics & Strategy. This role requires someone who is as strong in SQL as they are at building working relationships and translating data into persuasive narratives. Think operator who happens to excel with data, not just an analyst reporting numbers.
