Anduril Industries is seeking an Operations Analyst to join the Mission Engineering team supporting Air Dominance & Strike initiatives. This role focuses on developing rigorous, data-driven analytical products that guide business strategy, inform military requirements, and investigate concepts of employment for advanced defense technologies. You will engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to translate complex questions into physics-based analyses, often designing experiments using mission-level simulations. Working within Anduril's advanced modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities, you'll develop model-driven analyses using tools like AFSIM, Python, and MATLAB to evaluate platform performance across aerodynamics, fuel, signatures, and payloads (radar, EOIR, communications, weapons). Key responsibilities include employing the scientific method to develop and execute analyses, gaining deep understanding of Anduril's autonomy and perception products, leveraging internal M&S advantages, and translating complex technical findings into clear summaries for both internal teams and external customers through exceptional written and verbal communication. Required: 3+ years in relevant Science/Engineering, active U.S. Secret clearance (maintainable), 2+ years hands-on AFSIM scripting, proficiency in Python/MATLAB/Simulink, demonstrated experience in platform and payload M&S&A, and working knowledge of military domains (OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, Long Range Fires). Preferred: 5+ years experience or advanced degree (MS/PhD), ability to obtain Top Secret clearance, demonstrated ability to lead operations analysis studies end-to-end, signal processing experience (track fusion, filtering), and RF propagation modeling expertise.
