Revolut is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to strengthen its risk management framework and governance structures. This is a remote role based in Colombia, reporting into Revolut's global risk function.
You will work across all business functions, products, and regions to monitor operational performance and ensure the company operates safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibilities include:
• Partnering with first-line business teams to identify, assess, document, and regularly review operational risks across the organization
• Coaching business leaders to design and implement effective risk controls
• Supporting development and implementation of operational risk policies, procedures, key risk indicators (KRIs), and risk appetite statements
• Developing quantification techniques for operational risk, including stress testing and impact tolerance analysis
• Owning the risk incident management process: recording risk events, managing incident reports, and ensuring timely resolution
• Monitoring operational risk exposures against established limits and thresholds, producing management reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining risk management tools and systems
• Tracking KRI breaches and collaborating with risk owners to resolve issues within agreed timelines
• Conducting presentations and workshops on risk identification and mitigation best practices
You will be among the first involved in new initiatives, from technology launches to customer support enhancements, ensuring risk is embedded from the start. The role requires strong data literacy, the ability to translate complex regulatory and operational concepts into actionable insights, and excellent stakeholder management across a global, fast-growing organization.
