As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will own daily risk operations and support product/process improvements. Your primary responsibilities include performing daily risk checks per standard operating procedures, monitoring key metrics and system alerts, and escalating anomalies to appropriate teams while tracking resolution. You will investigate data anomalies in collaboration with business, engineering, and operations teams to identify root causes and drive issues to closure. You'll execute recurring routines including stress testing, scenario analysis data preparation, and parameter maintenance. Additional duties include tracking daily equity account positions, cash and margin data, reviewing anomalies, executing margin call follow-ups per established rules, and supporting acceptance testing for broker integrations and new system features. You will also support post-launch operations for the equities business by producing operating guides for customer service teams, collecting and categorizing client feedback, and driving issues to resolution for newly onboarded markets such as Hong Kong equities. On the product and process side, you'll help maintain rule documents and SOPs for risk control systems, contribute to requirement discussions and PRD compilation, and prepare test cases for user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline, with 1–5 years of full-time experience in brokerage operations, equities risk operations, securities operations, or a closely related role at a licensed brokerage, securities firm, or equities trading platform. You should demonstrate clear logical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work at pace. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required. Experience with AI tools for daily work and data handling is preferred, as is prior experience in risk, operations, or data roles at a crypto exchange or fintech company. Knowledge of SFO/SEC guidelines and related regulations is a plus.
