Salary: USD 241,946 - 311,536 / annual
BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company (Nasdaq) focused on transforming healthcare through precision diagnostics in prenatal and cancer care. This is a field-based sales role supporting the oncology portfolio, specifically the Northstar liquid biopsy product line.
As an Oncology Account Executive based in Bozeman, MT, you will drive revenue growth by selling liquid biopsy diagnostic products directly to oncologists and cancer care providers in your defined territory. You'll be responsible for prospecting new business, cultivating relationships with medical professionals, and implementing strategic business plans to accelerate market penetration in your geography.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct sales to individual oncologists and cancer care teams
- Strategic business planning and revenue growth initiatives in your territory
- Prospecting, relationship building, and account management
- Consultative selling with focus on understanding provider needs and problem-solving
- Territory management with regular travel within your defined area
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven sales track record (Presidents Club, Chairman's Club, Rookie of the Year, or consistent quota attainment over multiple quarters/years)
- Experience selling to medical providers
- Background in medical diagnostics, medical devices, or surgical devices sales
- Must live within the territory and be centrally located to accounts
- Willingness to travel within territory
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, strategic thinker with tactical execution ability
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment
Alternative backgrounds considered: Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), or Registered Nurses (RN) with experience ordering late-stage cancer liquid biopsy tests.
Compensation includes base salary ($168,346–$184,186), uncapped commission potential, and equity. Total compensation range: $241,946–$311,536 annually at plan. Benefits include 100% employee medical premiums on select plans, 16 weeks paid family bonding leave, fertility benefits, 4% 401(k) match, and generous PTO.
