Salary: USD 155,858 - 181,464 / annual

BillionToOne is a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company (Nasdaq) focused on transforming healthcare through precision medicine. The company has developed revolutionary QCT molecular counting technology for disease detection using cell-free DNA, with products including Unity Complete (prenatal screening), Unity Confirm (fetal cell capture), and Northstar (liquid biopsy for oncology). The company has grown from $0 to $400M+ annualized revenue in 6 years and recently completed a successful IPO in 2025. You will serve as a field-based Oncology Account Executive in Los Angeles, reporting to a Regional Manager - Oncology. This is a direct sales role focused on BillionToOne's Northstar liquid biopsy products and services for cancer care. Your primary responsibilities include: • Driving sales volume and revenue growth for Northstar liquid biopsy products in your designated Los Angeles geography • Creating and implementing strategic business plans to accelerate revenue growth in your territory • Prospecting and cultivating new business relationships with oncologists and cancer care providers • Maintaining and deepening key relationships within the extended cancer care community • Conducting consultative sales, coordinating logistics, and solving problems for medical professionals You will work independently in the field, managing your territory with a focus on closing business and meeting revenue targets. The role requires living within the defined territory and being centrally located to your accounts, with regular travel throughout the region. Compensation includes base salary, uncapped commission potential, and generous equity options. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • Demonstrated successful sales track record (Presidents Club, Chairman's Club, Rookie of the Year, or consistent at/above quota for multiple quarters/years) • Experience selling to medical providers • Experience selling medical diagnostics, medical devices, or surgical devices • Must live within the defined territory and be centrally located to accounts • Commitment to travel within defined territory • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present effectively to internal and external customers • Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize opportunities • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to think strategically and execute tactically • Sense of urgency with focus on closing business • Ability to assess needs of medical professionals and staff with consultative sales approach • Strong desire to work in a startup/growth environment; ability to work independently with internal drive for success ALTERNATIVE BACKGROUNDS CONSIDERED: • Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Registered Nurse (RN) with experience ordering late-stage cancer liquid biopsy tests
