The New Business Administrator role is central to delivering an excellent customer experience for Allica's Asset Finance product, working with a panel of brokers, Business Development Managers, Sales Support, and Underwriting teams. You will manage a portfolio of Asset Finance cases from proposal through document handover, ensuring efficient and effective progression. Key responsibilities include: • Submitting Asset Finance applications in line with credit policies, providing underwriters with sufficient information for sound lending decisions. • Delivering pre- and post-sanction administration, including timely release of communications, acceptance conditions, and document processing to support fast, high-quality service. • Managing workload to meet team service level agreements and quality expectations, driving efficiency through right-first-time delivery. • Maintaining strong relationships with panel brokers and internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Business Development Managers) to ensure smooth communication and timely case progression. • Maintaining accurate, compliant case records with clear sanction audit trails. • Ensuring adherence to bank policies, procedures, regulatory and statutory requirements, protecting the bank's business interests. • Communicating relevant information to team members, senior management, and stakeholders to enable informed decision-making. • Gathering necessary documentation from introducers and Business Development Managers to support loan application assessment. • Maintaining clear internal records for MI and monitoring. • Updating customer records in Ascent (the core banking system). • Supporting the Operations team and other departments as directed. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong numeracy and written abilities, and a proven track record in customer service. You should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing complex and competing priorities with focus on delivery. The ideal candidate has resilience, energy for collaboration, confidence, and a 'can-do' attitude—a doer willing to roll up sleeves and do whatever is needed to move the business forward. Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential, along with technical proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
