Fluidstack is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure for AI at unprecedented speed and scale. The Infrastructure team owns enterprise and wireless network design and deployment across data center campuses, offices, and labs.
In this role, you will own end-to-end enterprise and wireless network design and deployment as a single repeatable reference design across multiple gigawatt-scale data center sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and deploy enterprise campus networks (wired and wireless) from requirements gathering through turnover to operations, with configs generated and version-controlled rather than hand-drawn per site.
- Deliver full wireless coverage in RF-hostile environments: dense double-wide liquid-cooled racks cause severe interference, requiring strategic AP placement and predictive RF modeling.
- Run predictive and on-site RF surveys using professional tooling, then validate coverage post-install to account for environmental changes.
- Build security posture for active construction campuses: WPA3-class wireless, clean segmentation between production, controls, contractor, and guest traffic, with disciplined credential and SSID hygiene.
- Stand up interim construction-phase connectivity using satellite backhaul (Starlink-class) before terrestrial circuits land, then drive cutover to permanent enterprise networks.
- Coordinate with data center design, deployment, IT, and security teams to ensure enterprise and wireless requirements are baked into site design rather than retrofitted.
You should have deep experience designing and deploying enterprise campus networks end-to-end, with strong fundamentals in 802.11 (RF propagation, channel planning, roaming behavior). You've built NAC, segmentation, and guest/contractor access that held up under real-world abuse. You troubleshoot from packet capture and spectrum analysis, and you're comfortable with version-controlled configs and documented designs. Experience in industrial, construction, or RF-hostile environments is essential. Bonus skills: satellite or fixed-wireless backhaul, Wi-Fi design certifications, enterprise routing/switching automation, OT/BMS network experience.
