The Mom Project, a pioneer in the stroller wagon category, is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead their U.S. wholesale sales organization. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the CEO, responsible for driving growth across existing retail partners and identifying strategic opportunities in the domestic market. You will lead, coach, and develop the U.S. sales team through regular one-on-ones, performance feedback, and professional development initiatives. You'll oversee day-to-day management of the wholesale sales organization, ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting and strengthening relationships with major retail partners through strategic meetings, business reviews, and line reviews. You'll partner with account managers to identify growth opportunities, improve customer satisfaction, and maximize long-term partnerships. You'll drive execution of sales initiatives, product launches, promotional programs, and seasonal selling strategies across key accounts. This includes monitoring sales performance, customer trends, and market conditions to identify opportunities and proactively address risks. You'll review sales forecasts, pipeline activity, inventory levels, and sell-through performance to improve planning and execution. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance to execute commercial initiatives. You'll identify new business opportunities within the U.S. market and support expansion into new retail channels and strategic partnerships. Complex customer issues and escalations will be your responsibility to resolve while maintaining strong relationships and protecting the brand. You'll prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, business reviews, and performance updates to executive leadership. You'll develop and implement sales processes, best practices, and performance standards that improve team effectiveness. Staying informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights will inform your strategic recommendations. Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field; minimum 5 years in sales, account management, or business development in consumer products, retail, or wholesale; minimum 2 years leading and coaching a sales team; proven experience managing national retail accounts; demonstrated success achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth; strong knowledge of wholesale sales processes, account planning, forecasting, and reporting; excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills; proficiency with Google Workspace and CRM/ERP systems. Preferred: Experience with national retailers (Target, Costco, Walmart, Nordstrom, Buy Buy Baby); background in juvenile products, consumer goods, or premium retail brands; experience with Shopify or Business Central; experience leading annual business planning and retailer negotiations.
