Revolut is seeking an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer to join its Financial Crime team's second line of defence, supporting crypto and financial services compliance. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on designing and leading oversight of anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and sanctions controls within a fast-growing fintech environment.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and improving group FinCrime policies; providing oversight on identification, remediation, and resolution of financial crime risk incidents; assisting senior management in defining standards to manage financial crime risks across the organization; offering second-line-of-defence support to business and first-line FinCrime teams during product launches and process changes; ensuring FinCrime risks are embedded in day-to-day operations and new product development; supporting mandatory FinCrime training programs; participating in governance committees to challenge initiatives and identify risks; establishing and maintaining risk dashboards to flag areas outside risk appetite; and preparing escalation reports for leadership on key compliance issues.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of FinCrime experience (AML/CTF and sanctions), with deep knowledge of KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and SAR reporting. Crypto product experience is essential, as is familiarity with innovative financial services (buy-now-pay-later, etc.) and their associated risks. You'll need expertise in global anti-financial crime frameworks, strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and fluency in English. A professional qualification (ICA, ACAMS) is a plus, as is knowledge of anti-fraud controls and emerging cryptocurrency regulations.
