Air Space Intelligence (ASI) is a mission-critical technology company powering decision-making across aviation, defense, energy, and critical infrastructure. Backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Spark Capital, and Renegade Partners, ASI compresses days of analysis into seconds of action.
You will join ASI's new Mission Operations function as an operationally excellent force multiplier for customer-facing programs and internal initiatives. This role bridges operational challenges and mission outcomes by embedding directly with business units to drive execution, remove roadblocks, and anticipate needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive mission execution with ownership and accountability, focusing on getting things done rather than credit-seeking
- Serve as the operational backbone, partnering with leadership across the business to keep execution on track while absorbing operational load so leaders can focus on hardest problems
- Set operating cadence and prioritization by running standups, agendas, pre-reads, decisions, and follow-ups to keep teams aligned
- Balance detail orientation with strategic foresight—anticipate issues, come with solutions, and see both forest and trees
- Define and track metrics that drive velocity in partnership with deployment and tech leads, using data to make decisions
This is not traditional project management. You'll thrive in ambiguity, add structure where it helps, cut through bureaucracy, and do whatever it takes to deliver results. You'll work with customers, government stakeholders, and internal teams in a high-pressure environment where priorities and information change quickly.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional operators with ownership mentality, problem-solving ability, and execution track record in complex, ambiguous environments
- Strong project and program management instincts with ability to track details, identify risks, and keep teams moving without unnecessary process
- Customer-facing credibility and ability to build trust with customers, government stakeholders, and internal teams
- Technical fluency and ability to work credibly with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs (engineering or technical background is a plus)
- Bias for action and sound judgment; composure in high-pressure environments
- Aviation or military experience is a plus, particularly for FAA-facing roles
- Technical project experience is important for all backgrounds
Note: ASI works with export-controlled technology and restricted U.S. Government data. Employment offers are contingent on ability to timely obtain all required authorizations for contemplated job duties.
