Notion is seeking a Mid-Market Outcomes Architect for its Tokyo office to drive customer adoption, value realization, and renewal outcomes for a portfolio of named accounts. This role sits at the intersection of customer success and sales, focusing on customers that are flat, at-risk, or need a stronger path to measurable impact. You will own workflow adoption and value delivery for your book of business, partnering closely with Solutions Consultants on account strategy, expansion qualification, and planning. Key responsibilities include driving workflow adoption and value realization, contributing directly to net revenue retention (NRR) through predictable renewals and expansion pipeline, and defining mutual success plans that guide customers through AI transformation while demonstrating ROI to executive stakeholders. You'll facilitate use-case consultations to identify new workflow opportunities, engage Services teams for complex implementations, and help build scalable Outcomes Architect programs across Notion's customer base. The role requires deep product knowledge of Notion and the broader AI ecosystem to help customers navigate new ways of working and build durable systems. Required qualifications include 5+ years driving customer adoption, value realization, renewals, or expansion in B2B software; strong customer-facing discovery instincts; technical fluency to co-design and troubleshoot Notion workspaces; commercial awareness of renewal risk and expansion potential; ability to design workflows that drive usage-based consumption; strong program and stakeholder management; and native-level Japanese with business-level English. Nice-to-haves include prior experience in customer success, solutions consulting, implementation, or technical account management for productivity/collaboration software; experience with flat or at-risk renewal accounts; shared account ownership model experience; and experience designing repeatable customer programs and playbooks.
